Scale Your Cold Email Infrastructure

Seamlessly Without Breaking the Bank

The Cold Email Dilemma:

Buying Google and Microsoft mailboxes gets expensive quickly at $3 per mailbox. Custom SMTP or shared IP mailboxes are cheaper, but they often come with additional complexity and lower deliverability.

Introducing hybridbox:

• Hybrid Google/Microsoft deliverability

• Fraction of traditional costs

• No technical headaches

• Instant scalability

Reimagining Email Infrastructure

The Traditional Mailbox

Every mailbox has the same 3 components, which are usually all handled by the ESP

1 - How Emails Reach the Mailbox (i.e. the MX record)

2 - Where the Mailbox is Stored

3 - How Emails Leave the Mailbox (i.e. DKIM / SPF / DMARC records)

The Hybrid Mailbox

Breaks the components so that each component can be provided by a different provider

Example 1 - With an hybrid mailbox, it is possible to receive an email through Google/Microsoft (MX), store it on a private infrastructure, and then use Google/Microsoft for sending back emails (DKIM/SPF)

Example 2 - It is also possible to receive through Google / Microsoft, store elsewhere, and send through specialized providers or dedicated pools to mitigate deliverability issues

Key Benefits

NEW REVENUE STREAM

The solution can be white-labelled, so you can easily resell the mailboxes to your customers

SUPERIOR DELIVERABILITY

Multiple outbound routes can be setup through external providers to resolve deliverability issues

IMPROVED COST

Lower cost per mailbox than with a traditional ESP or a reseller, to improve your profits

Flexible Scalability, Less Cost

PRO PLAN

$1 / mailbox / month

plus $5 / tenant / month

  • For hybrid mailboxes - where emails enter and leave via Google/Outlook

  • A tenant is a Google / Microsoft account, each can hold multiple domains

  • Scale up and down as needed

  • No contracts - Cancel anytime

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the sending limits per mailbox?

We don't limit the sending capacity of mailboxes. The sending capacity is limited by the outbound path - meaning if your emails leave through Google infrastructure, Google will cap your sending capacity and can shutdown the outbound path if they choose. You can realistically send as many emails as you would with a traditional Google/Microsoft mailbox.

How many mailboxes can I create per domain?

Our architecture allows flexibility. You can use 2-5 mailboxes per domain (like a traditional deployment) sending 20-30 emails per mailbox, or 20-100 mailboxes per domain sending 2-5 emails per mailbox daily. Remember that risk is tied to domain reputation - if you have many mailboxes sending high volumes, all mailboxes on that domain could be impacted together.

What's a tenant and how does it work?

A tenant is a standalone Google or Microsoft account that can hold multiple domains. Each tenant holds the reputation of all its domains, and if a tenant is shut down, all domains underneath it would stop working. You can use different strategies: one tenant per domain, one tenant per group of domains (e.g., per client), or one tenant for all domains. You decide how to create your tenants, and we never share tenants across customers.

How does it differ from a traditional Google/Microsoft mailbox?

A traditional Google/Microsoft mailbox has a single tenant, single domain, and one license per mailbox. Emails enter and leave through their infrastructure and are stored there. With our model, we store the mailboxes ourselves, enabling better pricing while still using Google/Microsoft infrastructure for sending and receiving. This also allows for dynamic email routing to alternative outbound paths as needed (coming in future versions).

Is this a custom / private SMTP solution?

A custom/private SMTP solution is one combination we can replicate, where emails enter through a custom MX record, are stored on private infrastructure, and leave through shared or dedicated IPs. Our hybrid mailboxes aren't considered custom/private SMTP as emails route through Google/Microsoft infrastructure rather than directly through us.

How does it compare to Hypertide or Superwave?

We can replicate similar functionality to these services, where emails enter through Microsoft's network and exit via separate SMTP providers (like Azure ACS). However, our solution offers more flexibility in routing options and infrastructure configuration.

What security and reliability measures are in place?

Our infrastructure has been designed to be fault-tolerant, with multiple redundant servers being used for the storage, mail, and transmission layers.
